TASC will require two-factor authentication (2FA) to be enabled for participant account access by the end of February 2026.

Over the last several months, through email and other methods, we have encouraged TASC participants to help secure their information and money by enabling 2FA for their accounts. We have achieved nearly a 75% adoption rate, which shows that they understand the importance of this additional security step, and that it is easy and convenient to set up!

What Your Participants Need To Do

The next time your participants sign into MyTASC, they will be prompted to enable 2FA with one of two options:

  • Option 1: Provide a mobile phone number. Add their mobile phone number to receive a security code via text message (SMS) after they sign in with they password.
  • Option 2: Use an email address. Alternatively, they can receive a security code via email.

Participants may enable both options and select how they want to receive their security code each time they sign in, but they must enable at least one option for 2FA. They can easily manage these settings in MyTASC.

We will send another email to your participants notifying them of this security requirement. As always, they can call TASC Customer Care for assistance with setting up 2FA. For more information and other important security tips, you can share our helpful flyer: Protecting Your Benefits
